Tinchuck is a Co-Founder and Managing Principal of The Taloquence Group, a targeted real estate investment consultancy focused on assisting cross-border investors in large-scale transactions, and upscaling emerging operators through product development, capital formation, and corporate infrastructure improvement. Since inception of the company in 2010, Tinchuck has acted as principal representative of various investors and operators in large-scale real estate ventures and fund formation in the U.S.A. and Asia, including as principal-in-charge of the a USD 1.1 billion, 1.2 millions sq.ft. mixed-use development in Boston, MA, U.S.A and as the Executive Officer and Director of an open-ended U.S. real estate investment fund sponsored by an SEC registered investment adviser.
To date, Tinchuck has structured and managed various domestic and international investment vehicles totaling over USD 2.2 billion of cross-border capital from more than 10 jurisdictions globally. Her cross-border transaction footprint spans across over 100 real estate transactions in the U.S.A., Germany, Sweden and China, totaling more than USD 3.3 billion in value. In addition to her role as an investment professional, Tinchuck also serves as a Lecturer at Hong Kong University (Hong Kong, China) and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (U.S.A) where she teaches real estate investments and the capstone course for the MIT Master in Real Estate Program.
Tinchuck previously held several senior management positions in multiple countries: Managing Director, Head of Investments at Cottonwood Management (U.S.A.), EVP - Investments at Easternflair (Shanghai, China), Head of Real Estate Business Development – APAC at Aviva Investors (Singapore), Director of Real Estate Acquisitions at Blackrock (Hong Kong, China), and Principal of the Capital Markets Group at Taurus Investment Holdings (U.S.A.).
A graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (B.S.) and Harvard University (MArch with Distinction), Tinchuck is a CFA® charterholder and a CAIA® charterholder. She also completed the MIT Applied Data Science Program: Leveraging AI for Effective Decision Making and holds the CFA Institute Sustainable Investing Certificate and the Certificate of Corporate Governance from Wharton Executive Education.
Tinchuck is a member of the Board of Advisor for the Opus 1 Foundation and served as the International Chair on the Real Estate Board at Cottonwood Management, as board member on the International Advisory Board and the Alumni Advisory Board of the Real Estate Academic Initiative at Harvard University, and as founding board member of the Advisory Board of DesignX at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
